With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to implement and deliver mentoring services to youth populations that are involved in the juvenile justice system (including those youth currently placed within a juvenile correctional facility or those who have recently been released from a juvenile facility).

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to support states to implement innovative and/or research-based, data-informed policies to improve youth justice system outcomes and implement sustainable strategies for reinvesting resulting costs saved or averted into effective youth justice prevention and intervention programs.

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to build the capacity of states, state and local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Tribal governments to implement new and innovative approaches to enhance existing juvenile drug treatment courts and improve outcomes for youth with substance use disorder or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, including those with histories of trauma.

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to support emergency planning for state, local, and Tribal juvenile justice residential facilities. For youth who reside in residential facilities, it is crucial that applicants plan for and facilitate continued meaningful engagement with family and other supportive members of their community.

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to address and improve the reentry and recidivism challenges encountered by youth returning to their communities from juvenile residential or correctional facilities.
