The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, with support from OJJDP, has released the "Indian Child Welfare Act Judicial Benchbook." This publication is designed to guide judges in handling Indian Child Welfare Act cases. It provides judiciary practices for all stages of the court process to help ensure that a child is safely returned home or placed in a new, secure home.
