The OJJDP FY 2007 Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to online enticement and child pornography. This response encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, and community education. Applicants are limited to state and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, and West Virginia.

Court Appointed Special Advocates' (CASA) are volunteers appointed by the courts who advocate for abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers are recruited, trained and supervised through local CASA programs and some state CASA programs. In addition to helping children find their way to safe, permanent homes, volunteers ensure that children, and often their parents, receive needed services such as therapy, healthcare and education.

OJJDP will award Tribal Juvenile Accountability Discretionary Grant (JADG) Program grants to federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities to develop and implement programs that hold AI/AN youth accountable for their delinquent behavior and strengthen Tribal juvenile justice systems. OJJDP has developed this program announcement to assist and guide federally recognized Tribes as they prepare their applications for funding under the Tribal JADG program.
