The National Center for Juvenile Justice of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges administers this program. The goal of this program is to address the information needs of OJJDP and the juvenile justice field, taking advantage of existing databases to produce empirical information on a range of topics and disseminating this information to diverse audiences in a variety of formats. To meet this goal, the program:
- Analyzes major juvenile justice national data sets,
- Maintains the OJJDP Statistical Briefing Book (SBB) website—including its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and data analysis tools,
- Prepares publications, including OJJDP statistical bulletins and web-based data briefs, and
- Identifies and develops display options and products to more prominently feature OJJDP's most commonly requested and accessed statistical information.
