Through this initiative, OJJDP seeks to identify an organization to serve the Missing and Exploited Children (MEC) Program through a variety of services and program support including but not limited to providing: meeting and conference support; information management; and publications to local, state, and Tribal law enforcement, nonprofit organizations, and other juvenile justice practitioners.

Under this program, the successful applicant will operate the OJJDP National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Youth in Custody (the Center) to provide resources, training, and technical assistance for state, local, and Tribal departments of juvenile justice and corrections, service providers, and private organizations that operate juvenile facilities.

The VOCA Regional Children’s Advocacy Centers competitive program supports four Regional Children’s Advocacy Centers, one situated within each of the four U.S. Census regions, that (1) develop multidisciplinary teams, local children’s advocacy center programs, and state chapter organizations that respond to child abuse and neglect; and (2) deliver training and technical assistance that strengthen existing multidisciplinary teams, child advocacy center programs, and state chapter organizations.

The recipient will employ multiple strategies, including national and regional learning events, to strengthen the ability of Tribal youth to initiate, contribute to, and participate in culturally relevant efforts that reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors in youth, schools, communities, and families.

This program supports training and technical assistance (TTA) for states, state and local courts, units of local government, and Indian Tribal governments to build their capacity to develop, maintain, and enhance juvenile drug courts for substance-abusing youth.

This solicitation will fund one or more evaluation studies to produce findings of practical use to Tribal communities, practitioners, administrators, and policymakers in the identification, adaptation, and testing of promising programs, policies, and strategies for Tribal juvenile justice and delinquency prevention.

This program provides training and technical assistance support to enhance the national AMBER Alert network; increases and improves law enforcement response to missing, endangered, and abducted children.

OJJDP will fund the National Juvenile Justice Data Analysis Program (NJJDAP) to establish a central, primary source to conduct statistical data analyses and disseminate juvenile justice data to the public.

OJJDP’s Family Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance Program supports training and technical assistance (TTA) that helps states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and Indian Tribal governments develop, maintain, and enhance drug courts for substance-abusing adults who are involved with the family court due to child abuse and/or neglect issues.

This project supports, through grants and contracts with public and private agencies, the development and implementation of effective state and/or local governing committees and/or boards to build capacity to reduce DMC in the juvenile justice system. OJJDP will require successful applicants to implement the Community and Strategic Planning Project (CASP) curriculum as a part of the overall initiative and provide data and information for the process evaluation.
