Coordinating Council To Hold Meeting on September 19

Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention

On September 19, 2024, the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (Council) will convene from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET in Washington, DC. The Council is an independent body within the Federal Government that coordinates federal programs related to youth justice and missing and exploited children.

The Council's September meeting will focus on partnerships with the Department of Agriculture and AmeriCorps. In addition, the Council will review and approve its final draft report to Congress for fiscal year 2024, which draws upon input gathered from the field, expert testimony, youth panelists, and commentary at past meetings.

Office of Justice Programs Acting Assistant Attorney General Brent Cohen and OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan, who serves as the Vice Chair of the Council, will provide remarks.  

Members of the public may attend in person or via online video conference. Registration is required.
