Through this program, OJJDP will provide funding for the development and implementation of training and technical assistance for the purpose of promoting the effective delivery of the evidence-informed Children’s Advocacy Model and the multidisciplinary response to child abuse for child abuse professionals.
OJJDP seeks proposals that support efforts to provide information regarding improved child interview techniques, thorough investigative methods, interagency coordination, and effective presentation of evidence in court. Additionally, OJJDP seeks to support projects that provide training and technical assistance to facilitate the development and establishment of coordinated multidisciplinary programs that address child maltreatment. The successful grant recipient will be required to coordinate efforts with other VOCA programs (to be identified by OJJDP).
