The National Native Children's Trauma Center (NNCTC) through the Native Child Advocacy Resource Center provides national TTA for the expansion of child advocacy centers to improve access and services to American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children, families, and communities. The major goal of this project is to increase capacity of Tribal child advocacy centers and child advocacy centers serving AI/AN youth to effectively investigate, prosecute, and intervene in child abuse cases.

Services

The NNCTC hosts quarterly online learning events, fosters a community of learning for grantees, and provides customized TTA to those who have received grants as part of this initiative. The NNCTC also provides assistance to Tribes who are interested in developing a multidisciplinary team or a child advocacy center and those who are child advocacy centers looking to expand services to better serve AI/AN communities. A website has been developed to house resources that contribute to this work.
