OJJDP-funded Center Aims To Address Racial Inequities in the Juvenile Justice System

JUVJUST -  Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Juvenile Justice

OJJDP is proud to announce the launch of the Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Juvenile Justice! The Center will provide training, technical assistance, and resources to promote equity and reduce racial and ethnic disparities in youth justice.

The Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, in partnership with the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, and the Center for Children's Law and Policy established and will operate the Center.

The Center is now accepting applications for its Youth and Family Expert Advisory Council. The Council will serve as a critical component for all activities conducted by the Center. Up to 15 Council members with diverse experiences in the juvenile justice system will be selected.
