The National Institute of Justice has extended the application deadline for the fiscal year 2017 Research and Evaluation in Safety, Health, and Wellness in the Criminal Justice System funding opportunity to May 8, 2017. This solicitation promotes multidisciplinary research in the area of safety, health, and wellness of populations, including children, impacted by the criminal justice system. Among the focus areas of this research are the criminal or juvenile justice system responses to children exposed to violence and the impact of parental incarceration on children.
