In December, President Trump signed into law the Juvenile Justice Reform Act of 2018 (JJRA), reauthorizing and substantially amending the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 (JJDPA). OJJDP continues to carefully review changes to the legislation and we are committed to sharing implementation resources with the field in a timely manner. One resource now available is the 2018 JJRA redline, which will allow users to closely track changes implemented by the new law. We are creating additional resources and guidance documents, which will be available on our website in the coming weeks.
