An Introduction to Youth Hate Crimes and Hate Groups for Juvenile Justice Professionals Webinar
Held on March 10, 2022, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, OJJDP hosted An Introduction to Youth Hate Crimes and Hate Groups for Juvenile Justice Professionals as part of OJJDP’s Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative webinar series.
During the webinar, intended for juvenile justice specialists and professionals, presenters helped participants understand hate crimes and hate groups, and explained how to identify the difference between bullying, harassment, and hate crimes. Presenters also provided participants strategies and resources on how to help youth who have committed hate crimes.
