Sexting and Sextortion: Keeping Kids Safe Webinar
Held on November 20, 2014 and hosted by OJJDP, this webinar focused on sexting and sextortion. The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force described what sexting is and how to help parents, teachers, counselors, coaches, and school resource officers understand the dangers of sexting. In addition, helping youth say no to sexting and set boundaries with other youth pressuring them to sext will be explored. The FBI then explained sextortion and the dangers involved, laws related to sextortion, and tools and resources available to those who work with youth.
