This program will provide funding to support states, units of local governments, and Tribes to support juvenile drug treatment courts and family drug courts. Category 1 will provide funding to juvenile drug treatment courts to implement enhancements based on the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Guidelines. Category 2 will support family drug courts to address the complex needs of children who have been prenatally exposed to opioids, or have experienced post-natal exposure to opioid use (living with a parent/caregiver with an opioid use disorder), and identify specific services that best improve child, parent and family outcomes.
