The FY 2012 funds will support activities in Maryland that promote accountability, address public safety and re-entry of juvenile offenders from State and local custody into the community. More specifically, funds will support the following purpose areas: (11) accountability-based programs designed to reduce recidivism among juveniles who are referred by law enforcement agencies; and, (14) establishing and maintaining restorative justice programs.
