This program is funded under the authority of the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008, (42 USC 17611-17617, et seq.)(the PROTECT Act).

The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) will deliver training programs for law enforcement and other stakeholders to support the Internet Crimes Against Children program by improving investigative, prosecutorial, and forensic capacity; creating and distributing guidelines and best practices for investigative methodologies; and coordinating meetings with grantees and practitioners. NW3C will deliver six Fast Track computer forensic trainings (comprised of four classes each), five individually selected advanced training classes, five Cell Phone classes, and five Wireless Investigation classes to ICAC Task Forces, for a total of 39 classes with over 1,000 student seats available.
