Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $200,000)

The OJJDP FY 10 Earmarks Program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended, to organizations identified in the Conference Report to accompany the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (P.L. 111-117), H.R. Conf. Rep. No. 111-366 at 702-714.
The goal for this project is to improve The Manor's safety and security features on its main campus residential and treatment facilities. To meet this goal, The Manor will improve its safety and security features by installing video cameras to monitor areas to increase surveillance, increase data storage capacity for additional cameras, update antiquated fire safety monitoring devices, upgrade to high impact security access doors and add a facility generator that can run these security and safety systems in time of power failure.
