The Positive Results program provides peer mentoring, youth development, and vocational development to adolescent foster girls living in Los Angeles County to help improve their vocational, educational, and social skills to better prepare them for adulthood. This program serves 150 girls per year ages 13 to 18 who have suffered serious abuse, neglect or abandonment and are currently living in Rosemary Children's Services' group homes and/or are attending their Non-Public School. Measurable program goals include increased academic performance, increased knowledge of vocations, increased number of credits earned toward their high-school education, and a minimum 90% attendance rate. Quality Assurance procedures include a review of school attendance records, grades and progress reports, number of credits, case management documentation from program directors, supervisory staff and support staff.
