Note:
This awardee has received supplemental funding. This award detail page includes information about both the original award and supplemental awards.
OJJDP FY 09 Demonstration Programs Division Grants was established to provide grants, cooperative agreements and other assistance to organizations designated by OJJDP, as authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 2002 (42 U.S.C. Sections 5601 et seq.) and statutes appropriating funds for juvenile justice programs.
The OJJDP Model Programs Guide was designed to provide communities with dynamic access to hundreds of programs that have demonstrated success in addressing delinquency and other problem behaviors. The grantee (Development Services Group, Inc.), will receive funds to work with OJJDP in: (1) maintaining and updating the MPG and the Find Youth Info websites; (2) coordinating and collaborating with the Federal Working Group for the Find Youth Info website; and (3) promoting the availability, visibility, and use of the MPG, DMC-Reduction Best Practice and DSO Best Practices. This award will also further enhance the SMART GIS application, which contains MPG program locations and other information, for communities.
