Improving the Juvenile and Family Courts' Handling of Child Abuse and Neglect Cases: A Model Training and Technical Assistance Project

Building upon the existing and successful Project funded by OJJDP, the proposed enhancement and expansion of the Project will encompass a multi-tiered approach to systems reform that coordinates local, state, and national initiatives. Project goals, objectives, and methods strategically link RESOURCE GUIDELINES best practices, Model Court reform efforts, federally-funded statewide projects, and national training programs and initiatives, to achieve more broad-based system improvements and enhanced outcomes for children and families.
