Out-of-School Program

The Meeting Waters YMCA will hire an Out-of School-Program director to work with over 400 high-risk youth and their families in YMCA supported programs such as ASPIRE, Snow Days and summer camps. Six new ASPIRE sites will be added once the director is hired. The goal of this effort is to engage Windham County youth in asset-building out-of-school programs to help stimulate a rate reduction in the region's delinquency, court dispositions, school drop-out, and alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.

Meeting Waters YMCA develop a performance measurement tools and record various data including contact hours with youth, reductions in high-risk behavior, number of families participating in the programs, number of youth served by the new programs, and the number of participating agencies.
