Texas A & M will develop a data collection instrument targeting Texas juvenile probation officers who will report on a sample of their clients. The primary goal is to better understand the various ways in which juvenile recidivists differ from non-recidivists and the role of the Texas juvenile justice system. The project activities include collection from a representative sample of 2000 juvenile probation clients, statistical analysis of data, and recommendations for program design.NCA/NCF
