Out of school time homework assistance program for daily tutorial and remediation for local students in first through seventh grades.

The Library Action Committee of Corona-East Elmhurst, Inc. will continue to implement the Out-of-School Time Homework Assistance Program in the Corona-East Elmhurst community of Queens, New York for enrolled students in grades 1 through 7. The primary goal is to improve academic achievement of participating students through the provision of one-one one tutoring and homework completion help by multi-lingual tutors. The Library Action Committee will track progress by reporting performance measures to OJJDP such as improvements in social competence, school attendance and Grade Point Average. NCA/NCF
