The Godfather Male Mentoring Program is designed to provide a positive male presence for elementary and high school boys through participation of male role models, focusing on education, leadership and responsibility.
The activities provided by this program include one-on-one and group mentoring, cultural, community and recreational activities. The mentors and mentees meet twice a month for a minimum of four (4) hours at the school in a room designated for their meetings. The Godfather mentors provide nurturing support and guidance to develop a positive trusting relationship with the students to reduce the drop out rate and juvenile delinquency.The goal of the Godfather Male Mentoring Program is to provide mentoring support for male youths, through the participation of male role models focusing on improving education, demonstrating leadership and developing responsibility. This mentoring program will be implemented in the following two schools;
Evers Elementary School and Englewood High School.NCA/NCF
