Friends with Jesus, Inc. seeks to implement the 'The Friendship House Conflict Resolution - Peace Program' to approximately 150 at-risk students in Decatur County. The Friendship House is the only community-based service provider in the county that offers free prevention and intervention training to at-risk youth. The Peace Program seeks to increase the number of positive conflict resolution decisions made among the students that attend the Friendship House after school program. This program will offer a research-based conflict resolution curriculum that will focus on violence prevention, anger management, problem solving, character building, communication, and cooperation. The program will be offered year round and will be evaluated at the end of the school year in 2007. The program will be measured through pre- and post-testing for each set of curricula offered per age group along with pre- and post-behavior scale surveys. NCA/NCF
