The Juvenile and Family Court Training Program provides training and education programs to juvenile court personnel and other juvenile justice practitioners in the following areas: juvenile and family law; detention reform; accountability-based dispositions; restorative justice and other dispositional alternatives; reentry strategies; victim issues; mental health issues; substance abuse issues, disproportionate minority contact; probation fundamental skills; management training; and a myriad of related juvenile justice subject and skill building matters. Training efforts are directed to 1) courts of general jurisdiction where judges hear juvenile and family court cases on either a permanent or rotation basis; and 2) courts of limited, juvenile or special jurisdiction. In addition to judges and other hearing officers (referees, masters, et al), this project serves all levels of the juvenile justice profession. NCA/NCF
