The Riverdale Youth Employment Project envisions a comprehensive community-wide effort on the part of all youth service providers to enhance the employment vitality of Riverdale youths. The project will establish a system to serve as a catalyst for supporting youth's transition into adulthood and viable contributing citizens. A major goal of the Riverdale Youth Employment Project is to provide area youths with salient and meaningful work experiences that will provide transferable skills and experiences to deter juvenile delinquency involvement and simultaneously provide support services to ameliorate those concerns that are documented obstacles to obtaining employment.
