The Thomasville Community Resource Center (TCRC) will partner local universities, hospitals, public schools and government agencies, to establish a Community Wellness Center. The Wellness Center will provide prevention, intervention, and treatment programs to the area's youth and families. Goals of the Wellness Center are to reduce teen pregnancy, reduce the rate of STDs in the youth population and to promote healthy life choices. These goals will be achieved by youths coming to the Wellness Center for services (such as STD testing and counseling services), the Wellness Center holding programs at local schools and other public places, and the Center going to home to hold conflict resolution training and parenting skills classes. TCRC will report on performance measures including participation rates, participant satisfaction surveys, pre and post program knowledge and skills tests, and follow up surveys.NCA/NCF
