El Puente De Williamsburg, Inc. will implement after school programs in two Brooklyn neighborhoods for 100 minority youth ranging in age from 6 to 21. The program goals are to improve youths' rate of violence, school drop out, teen pregnancy and substance abuse. The program's strategy is to provide comprehensive after school programming from 3pm to7pm, five days a week, offering academic, health, leadership, and self esteem services both one on one and in workshop and group settings. El Puente will track performance outputs such as attendance, activity progress reports, and individual reports. Performance measures will include participant surveys measuring changes in attitudes and behavior. El Puente will report their findings to OJJDP in the grantee's Categorical Assistance Progress Reports. NCA/NCF
