Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2001, $293,065)
Grant funds will be used to continue operations of this juvenile drug court through providing additional funding for case management, funding an adventure-based program, and additional funding for motivational incentives and rewards for juvenile participants. In addition, grant funds will be used to provide additional services to drug court clients through the provision of specialized mentor services for adjudicated juveniles and the addition of a separate track for older juveniles that focuses on vocational development, educational development, and community service. The court will serve approximately 40 participants and 1-2 family members per client per year. Clients will enter the program either via post-adjudication or through probation violations.
