Project summary for 2000-MC-CX-K023 (S-1)
Using OJJDP funds, the Maryland State Police will continue ICAC Task Force operations as a full-time investigative response that utilizes a multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional, task force model composed of representatives from federal local law enforcement, prosecution, social services, medical and corrections professionals.
Specific activities include but are not limited to: 1) acquisition of advanced training and specialized equipment for Task Force members; 2)the continuation of tiered education programs for children, parents, and teachers; and 3) operation of an online case management system; and 4) administration by the Executive Board to govern project activities.
