Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2000, $541,000)
The purpose of this program is to provide approximately 4,000 teenage youth, ages 13-17, with safe, supervised, recreational and educational enrichment activities during the summer evening hours. The program is to be implemented in three regions of service within Milwaukee. The Northern Region will have three community center sites. The Central Region will have two community center sites. The Southern Region will have two community center sites. Each of the seven community centers will provide two to five nights of activities per week. NCA/NCF
