Community Solutions, Inc. will provide a mentoring program that will match at-risk youths with adult mentors throughout the next three years. The program will target court-involved youth between the ages of 11-15. The mentors will be placed with youth based on similiar interests, in order to ensure open communication and trust.

The mentoring will encourage cognitive self-change, which involves recognizing negative behavior and replacing that behavior with a more positive choices. The program also focuses on developing culturally-sensitive attitudes, good academic standing and involvement in community service. Special trips and events for participants and families are a strong part of the program.
