This award will continue to support the Lowcountry Children's Advocacy Center in operating a multi-disciplinary team approach that coordinates comprehensive crisis intervention services for abused children and their families. The goal for this programs include: 1) providing direct services to child victims and their families; 2) strengthening community coordination in support of reducing secondary victimization; 3) collecting and analyzing data regarding the demographics of child victims and their families; and the characteristics of the perpetrator, the abuse, and the community response; and 4) coordinating medical services for child abuse victims and their families. This year the program will focus on raising awareness, as well as creating a plan for long-term financial sustainability. nca/ncf
