Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region Community Project aims to engage youth in goal-setting and foster fun, non-confrontational interactions with officers, aiming to instill life skills and strengthen community bonds. Positive interactions can influence families as children bring these experiences home. By promoting understanding of right and wrong early on, crime prevention efforts are enhanced. Additional security measures such as the procurement of cameras, outdoor lighting, and the creation of a sub-station, seek to create a well-lit, monitored environment, encouraging broader community participation in facility activities and programs.
