The RIDGE Project aims to implement the TYRO Youth curriculum (an intensive character development program) and family-child bonding activities for up to 300 minor children of incarcerated parents at Grafton Correctional Institution. The primary goal of TYRO Families is to enhance the well-being of incarcerated parents and their children by promoting family bonding, building resilience, reducing recidivism, and supporting responsible parenting. By providing services that address the specific needs of children with incarcerated parents, the program seeks to improve outcomes for both parents and children while breaking generational cycles of incarceration.
