Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $753,755)

The Tarrant County (Texas) Family Recovery Court (FRC) seeks to provide justice-involved families access to a full continuum of behavioral health services, attachment and bonding programming, peer recovery support services, and substance use services and supports.  The primary target population is justice-involved individuals who have a history of alcohol and/or drug problems, including co-occurring mental health disorders, who are in or seeking recovery, along with their family members and significant others. Included within this target population are individuals who have a substance use disorder (SUD) or are struggling with significant substance use issues, resulting in the removal of their child, and are currently enrolled in FRC services.
