The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention will provide an overview on how communities can build a "Continuum of Care" to strengthen their approach to youth justice. The Continuum of Care provides a framework centered around the needs of youth, families, and communities, which prioritizes youth and community safety, and focuses on early intervention and effective programming. This framework enables communities to marshal limited resources and respond to emerging issues. Speakers will also discuss the agency’s new Building Local Continuums of Care To Support Youth Success initiative, including how to access support, training and technical
assistance.
