This virtual course discusses the Handle with Care, an innovative program taking place in several states across the country. Handle with Care creates a network of communication between local law enforcement and schools that alerts school personnel that a child has been exposed to or witnessed a violent crime. This program highlights the benefits of community organizations working together to support children and increase awareness of the effects of crime on youth and community.
