Child Advocacy Centers Military Partnership Pilot Project

Through this new initiative, the National Children’s Alliance (NCA) will continue efforts to increase the number of children served in all jurisdictions across the U.S. NCA accomplished this through project planning and the implementation of targeted training and technical assistance using State Chapters as key stakeholders, facilitating communication among our members, linking multidisciplinary teams and child advocacy centers (CAC) to military services as we continue to support the implementation of our National Standards for Accreditation and endorsement of best practices.

CACs, MDTs, and state chapters of CACs/MDTs involved in child abuse intervention.

The NCA provides products to our target audience of CACs, MDTs, related professionals who respond to child maltreatment, and CAC chapters. The NCA will:

  • Provide training and technical assistance to awardees.
  • Maintain a collaborative work group to produce products.
  • Develop a coordinated, multiphased training plan that will support implementation of protocols and cross-training of DOD and CACs in key service delivery areas.
  • Delivery of trainings modules and resources through a joint e-learning platform.
