Vicarious trauma

Professionals working in the child sexual exploitation fields are more likely to be exposed to conduct, material, and circumstances that can lead to chronic stress.

This webinar, held on April 26, 2023, was the first in a series being conducted by the Innocent Justice Foundation, an OJJDP-funded provider of SHIFT (Supporting Heroes in Mental Health Foundational Training).

This presentation held on October 19, 2022 discussed vicarious trauma and the effects of moral injury, and identified tools and techniques to mitigate the negative effects on individuals in the workplace and personal lives.
