National AMBER Alert Awareness Day was January 13. Now in its 27th year, the AMBER Alert system had contributed to the recovery of 1,085 children as of November 24, 2021. OJJDP's AMBER Alert Training and Technical Assistance Program helps law enforcement develop policies and best practices to recover missing children safely.
