Webinar To Discuss Teaching Children About Consent

On July 26, 2017, from 2 to 3:15 p.m. ET, OJJDP, in collaboration with the National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College, will present "Teaching Children About Consent." This webinar will examine and define "consent" in the context of sexual assault prevention and sex education. The focus of the webinar will be on the need to establish healthy boundaries, build healthy relationships, and promote human dignity. Law enforcement, social workers, forensic interviewers, sexual assault nurse examiners, victim advocates, juvenile court personnel, prosecutors, and other child serving professionals are encouraged to attend.
