On October 13, 2016, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, OJJDP will present “Strategies for Educators, Counselors, and Community Members To Build Protective Factors for America’s Muslim Youth.” This webinar will focus on strategies to help participants create protective factors and prosocial opportunities for Muslim youth. Presenters will discuss adolescent development, positive youth development, and how to create safe and accepting academic and community environments for Muslim youth. The training will also address methods for strengthening protective factors on the individual, peer, and community levels for Muslim youth.
