SAMHSA Issues Youth Suicide Prevention and Intervention Funding Opportunity

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has announced the fiscal year 2019 "Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Grant Program" funding opportunity. This program will support states and Tribes with implementing youth suicide prevention and early intervention strategies. These strategies will be offered in schools, educational institutions, juvenile justice systems, substance use programs, mental health programs, foster care systems, and other child- and youth-serving organizations. Applications are due by March 18, 2019.
