On November 30, 2023, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. ET, OJJDP will present “Combating Racism: Preventing the Criminalization of Normal Adolescent Behavior Among Youth of Color.”
This webinar, presented by Kristin Henning, The Blume Professor of Law and Director of the Georgetown Law Juvenile Justice Clinic, will focus on ways to recognize and prevent the criminalization of normal adolescent behavior by African American youth. Professor Henning will provide resources and discuss strategies to ensure adults working with youth have a full understanding of adolescent development.
