Recognize Your Peers for Missing Children's Day Awards

The nomination period for the 2018 National Missing Children's Day Awards is open through January 24, 2018. OJJDP is seeking nominations for the following awards:

• Missing Children's Citizen Award recognizes the courageous act of private individuals whose actions directly helped to safely recover a missing/abducted child or children.
• Missing Children's Child Protection Award recognizes the efforts of child protective service agency personnel, individual law enforcement officers, or other multidisciplinary professionals who work to protect children from abuse and victimization.
