President Trump Addresses IACP Annual Conference

Today, President Donald Trump addressed the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition in Chicago, IL. He also signed an executive order establishing a commission tasked with studying the challenges law enforcement face. The commission will be led by Attorney General William Barr.

The IACP Annual Conference and Exposition is being held October 26-29, 2019. During the conference, the Office of Justice Programs and OJJDP will share information on training and technical assistance available to support law enforcement. OJJDP will also host a session on resources available through the National Gang Center.
