The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention recently visited Guam and provided training and technical assistance on Title II Formula Grants Program (Title II) compliance. States and territories must comply with the core requirements outlined in the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act to receive federal funding under Title II. Grants Management Specialist Tina Borner met with representatives from various agencies within Guam's Department of Youth Affairs to address challenges faced by Guam and provide training on program management and effective record keeping. Borner stated "With the new change in administration, we really felt that there was a need to come out and ensure that they really understand what it is that we need in order for them to be successful."
