Join Administrator Ryan and staff at the National Mentoring Summit, hosted by MENTOR, on January 25-27, 2023. This hybrid event features more than 75 workshops, many offered by OJJDP grantees. OJJDP-funded workshop topics include:
- Mentoring programs for youth who identify as LGBTQ+ or are questioning their sexual identity.
- Mentoring programs for youth of color and Native youth.
- Mentoring for youth affected by substance misuse.
- Benefits of mentoring for youth mental health.
OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan will provide opening remarks at the Summit and address new OJJDP mentoring grantees at a pre-event orientation. The orientation will highlight OJJDP's National Mentoring Resource Center, OJJDP's Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative, and best practices for grants management.
